Grimace exclusive video premiere of “Awake The Demons”

From the ashes of one musical projects forms a new band by the name of Grimace. Featuring a line-up of veteran musicians including Evan Severed (vocals), Erik Tisinger (bass), Colin Reed (guitar), and Chase Brickenden (drums), the four musicians found themselves on the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival in 2013 as part of Thrown Into Exile. After creative differences they decided to shed their skin and start fresh with a new adrenaline pumping mix of dark tones and aggressive metal. Mixing grime lyrics, a variety of rough and harmonic vocals, and thrashing melodic guitars, Grimace have all the ingredients to satisfy any modern metal fans appetite. Wasting no time to get the fire started, the band went into the studio and put together their self-titled debut EP available here.  Four tracks in total, the Augustus Cryns produced EP makes a massive impression with intensity and fury.

Now Grimace exclusively premiere their music video for their song “Awake The Demons” on CrypticRock.  Directed by Brian Cox and Digital Iris Productions, the video has a 1970’s horror film gritty texture which will be irresistible and appreciated by fans of the genre .  Paying homage to classic exploitation horror films, the concept behind the video is about a post-apocalyptic road warrior that goes from settlement to settlement and murdering other humans.

Bassist Tisinger states “The premise of the video was to be much like an old horror flick. Our live show is going to be a sort of horror theater meets metal.”
