Beware of Darkness is gearing up for a 3-week nationwide headline tour, kicking off at SXSW in Austin, TX. The LA-based trio, led by 22 year-old guitar phenom Kyle Nicolaides, will take their notoriously commanding live show to Chicago, New York, Detroit, Minneapolis, Toronto and more. See below for details and stay tuned as more dates will be announced soon.

The tour is in support of their acclaimed debut Orthodox, out now on Bright Antenna Records. The gut-wrenching new single “All Who Remain” is climbing the charts at Active Rock Radio, currently #17 and steadily rising. Rolling Stone recently premiered the official video for the song, declaring it “hook-injected.” This recent success follows the victory of the band’s hit first single “Howl,” which reached Top 5 at Rock Radio, culminating in a performance on CONAN.

The announcement of the new tour dates comes on the heels of a busy year for Beware of Darkness, with extensive touring across the U.S. and Europe that included performances at the UK’s Reading and Leeds Festival, a slot on Jane’s Addiction UPROAR Festival, and Warped tour. Over the past several months, the band has shared the stage with the likes of The Smashing Pumpkins, Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, Social Distortion, Deftones, Silversun Pickups, Tegan and Sara, Metric, AWOLNATION, Hollywood Undead, The Wombats, Middle Class Rut and others. Most recently, they performed a series of holiday radio shows with 30 Seconds to Mars, Atlas Genius, Cage the Elephant and more.

The band also shot a ton of behind-the-scenes footage (with plenty of tour antics), and edited the highlights together for a new video set to the album track “Amen Amen.” Check it out below:

Recorded at the Sound Factory and Valley Recorder in Hollywood, CA, executive produced and mixed by Dave Sardy (Oasis, LCD Soundsystem, Nine Inch Nails), and produced by Greg Gordon and frontman Kyle Nicolaides, Orthodox proves itself to be a sensuous experience – aimed somewhere between the gut and dirty dive bar – but death, and its implications for the living, is wrestled with on nearly each of the album’s twelve blistering tracks.

Beware of Darkness is Kyle Nicolaides (vocals, guitar), Daniel Curcio (bass) and Tony Cupito (drums).
