The wait is over for Arch Enemy fans to get a taste of newly added vocalist Alissa White-Gluz taking over for Angela Gossow.  Days after the official announcement of vocalist changes, the band released their video for the title track off their forthcoming album War Eternal , due out in early June 2014.  Below you can witness the thrashing of this blister new track

The song exhibits the strong guitar melody which has been Arch Enemy’s signature for two decades.  With a different voice than that of Gossow, White-Gluz holds her own with a deep aggressive growl which fits Arch Enemy perfectly.  If  this is a sign of things to come for Arch Enemy, fans worries can be put at ease with White-Gluz’s confident and impressive debut.  The single, “War Eternal” will be also become available for streaming through Spotify starting Friday, March 21st in the early morning hours.

Chief song-writer, guitarist and band leader Michael Amott comments: “This is a day to remember. It is such a great feeling to come back with new music and to unleash the first single and video off ‘War Eternal’. Behold the first chapter of the new ARCH ENEMY saga… This is f**king war!”

The album was recorded in various studios during the winter of  2013 into 2014 and features production by the band themselves along with veteran Jens Borgen which has worked with Opeth, Paradise Lost, and Kreator among others.  In support of the new record Arch Enemy will begin their world tour May 23rd in Romania.  There are plans for a North American tour in the fall of 2014.
