With a wide range of compelling products, the Corps Reviver Hand Serum is a limited-edition offering first introduced in Heretic Parfum’s “A Very Gorey Holiday” collection in early November 2025. Currently available for purchase via hereticparfum.com for $36 as a standalone item or as the Corps Reviver Coffret for $75, which includes a limited-edition macabre box, there is a lot to discuss. Opening the black box, you will find a velvet pouch containing a keepsake trinket box with a poised, delicate hand atop it. Inside is a tube with a convenient pump applicator; once primed with a pump or two, it delivers a deliciously scented, lightweight hand serum. Powered by vegan spider silk, Coco-caprylate, and Hinoki oil, it is non-oily, non-greasy, with 100% absorption, leaving no unwanted residue behind, only soft, smooth skin.
The fragrance, which is quite long-lasting, is hard to describe but can evoke walking through a dark forest in Autumn, with subtle notes of spice. The smooth, citrusy, and herbal note of hinoki wood runs through the top, heart, and base of this fragrance, accompanied by cozy, reassuring sacred resins and cashmere, as well as complex woody notes from Himalayan cedar, cypress, elemi, Siberian fir, and balsam. Hinoki’s proven ability to alleviate anxiety, depression, and soothe the nervous system makes it an especially powerful companion when we need to take a beat from our busy lives and remind ourselves of our primeval connection with the woods.” Intriguing: the fragrance is neither feminine nor masculine, but rather therapeutic.
