Coming together fifteen years ago, Vocalist Muggs Fogarty and Guitarist Rafay Rashid would join up as a songwriting team. Sharing common musical interests, the Providence, Rhode Island-based duo soon expanded into a full-fledged band.
Led by Fogarty and Rashid, they join with Florence Wallis (vocal/bass/violin), Nick Politelli (guitar), and Bryan Fielding (drums). Together, uniting as Lookers, the band possesses a sound that does not exactly fit into one box or another. Mixing Pop and Rock, among other elements, there is no easy way to describe their sound other than atmospheric and engaging.
Something might want to call Art Rock or Art Pop, now the band is set to release their debut album, Deeper, on April 25, 2025, via Almost Ready Records.
