Canadian hard rock band The Veer Union made their big splash back in 2009 with their major label debut Against the Grain. The album included the three massive singles “Seasons”, “Youth of Yesterday”, and “Darker Side of Me”, which helped make the band one of the most talked about on the scene. Despite being dropped by Universal Records, the band triumphed on three years later with the strong effort of Divide the Blackened Sky. While the album received positive reviews, another bump in the road hit The Veer Union with all original members departing from the line-up, leaving only singer-songwriter Crispin Earl. Unwilling to give up, Earl plugged on; and after a successful Kickstarter campaign, released Life Support Vol.1 in December 2013. Now, all Earl’s hard work and unmistakable talents have been rewarded in 2014 after the announcement of signing with Pavement Entertainment.

To help celebrate The Veer Union’s new home they will be releasing a deluxe edition of Divide The Blackened Sky on June 10th. This special edition will include three new songs as well as remastered tracks. Glover made the following statement about the album, “Divide The Blackened Sky, is a much darker and heavier effort than our previous works. It depicts all the hard times we have been through over the last couple of years.”

The band will be supporting the effort with the release of new single/video for “Borderline” and a full blown tour; featuring Righteous Vendetta, Blacklite District, and Black Oxygen. Keep your eyes open for a brand new studio album from The Veer Union in 2015.
