X-Men: Days of Future Past finds our beloved characters from the original X-Men joining forces with their younger selves from X-Men: First Class in a battle for survival of the species across two time periods. As a sequel to X-Men: The Last Stand (2006), X-Men: First Class (2011), as well as a follow-up to The Wolverine (2013), the film follows the story-line of Marvel Comics’ Uncanny X-Men’s “Days of Future Past” by Chris Claremont and John Byrne. This is the third X-Men film directed by Bryan Singer and was written by Simon Kinberg, Matthew Vaughn, and Jane Goldman with screenplay by Kinberg. X-Men: Days of Future Past is scheduled to be released on May 23rd and will be available in 3D.
