Swedish band Avatar announced the release of their new album Hail The Apocalypse. The album is the follow-up to the successful Black Waltz (2012). Now a week later the band brings fans a visually stimulating new music video for the title track “Hail The Apocalypse”. Filmed in black and white, like a classic silent film, the video captures a dark and eerie atmosphere to go along with the epic track. Vocalist Johannes Eckerström states this about the new video:
“This is our best video to date. I play your friendly neighborhood doomsday prophet. You get to follow me facing the unbelievers & their reactions when chaos ensues. Good times all around & we are using some really amazing special effects to blow up the planet. Oh, and it’s done like a silent movie.”
If you haven’t had the chance to check out Avatar live yet they will be on tour supporting Pop Evil, Escape The Fates along with Glamour Of The Kill for a diverse spring tour.
