Available on December 13, 2024, it is the third in a set of live album releases that began with the release of 50th Anniversary Live – First Night on December 8, 2023, and continued with 50th Anniversary – Second Night on August 9, 2024.
Does so in collaboration with Frontiers Srl, the spine-tingling concert experience chockful of golden nuggets of melodies offers Blue Öyster Cult’s entire 1974 album Secret Treaties and shines in dazzling brilliance. A part of a busy year for the band, as mentioned, they already put out Second Night in August, but let us not forget the compelling treasure trove of material in Ghost Stories, which arrived in April.
This latest installment of the three-day concert series, held in front of sold-out crowds in NYC back in September 2022, unleashes an ear-splitting celebratory metallic guitar twang that was amplified to reach ears worldwide but remains reminiscent of a carefree bygone era. This live concert footage is not only a special tribute to the musical accomplishments of Blue Öyster Cult over the decades but also contains a priceless bonus vocal and instrumental accompaniment of founding member Albert Bouchard.
