Fellow Robot Premiere New Single “Cemetery Song”

Out of Southern California, Sci-Fi Post Rock band Fellow Robot released their debut album The Robot’s Guide to Music Volume 1 earlier this year. A concept record about a post-human world where robots rule and try to understand through music, they are now set to release the second chapter in The Robot’s Guide to Music. Excited for this next installment in their artistic vision, today, they premiere their brand new single “Cemetery Song” exclusively on CrypticRock. Check it out below:

When asked about the song the band stated, “I love exploring Cemeteries, especially the ones that scare me. Four years ago while playing a gig at the Sunnyside Cemetery in Long Beach, I thought I read my father’s name on a nearby headstone. After my short set, I walked the grounds with my father’s 1953 Martin acoustic guitar and started singing haunted melody. Cemetery Song is a tribute to death and a gentle reminder that time on earth is fleeting. For our second album we are incorporating some new elements into our songs, and we’re excited to release this eerie rock tune on Halloween Day. We teamed up with some incredibly talented musicians on this track, including Vanessa Acosta on trumpet, Matthew Proffitt on trombone and my brother Andrew on backing vocals.” Fitting to premiere the dark tune on Halloween, it is a mesmerizing piece of music perfect for the holiday that is a must listen!
