leaders and kings promo Recently signed on with Standby Records, Nashville Rock band Leaders And Kings dropped their self-titled label debut album this past January. Recorded at Studio D with co-producers Don DeBiase (Modern Day Escape, Black Veil Brides) and Jeremy Stempert (Black Veil Brides, Light the Fire), the album is a great mix of modern Hard Rock styling with influence from everyone from The Police to Breaking Benjamin. Consisting of Casey Self (vocals), Johnny Reeves (bass/backing vocals), Nick Monroe (lead guitarist/backing vocals), and Weiss (drums) Leaders And Kings now drop their latest music video for the the track “Torn.” The sixth overall song on their debut, when asked about the inspiration behind the piece, the band stated, “The inspiration for Torn came from experiences we watched friends go through. One sided relationships that tortured one of the partners. It was always hard to watch, and love makes you do crazy things…like not listen to your friends when their trying to help you. We live, learn, heal, and finally move on to better things.

The music video was recorded filmed April 10th, at Sony Music’s Publishing studio “Sony Tree.” A straight ahead video of the band performing the track, it is complimented by wonderful coloring and the band added, “The direction was under the Paradestormer Production team, they filmed all the footage, brought out a Blackmagic URSA mini 4k camera, and done the crazy Sin City style color correcting Everything black and white except (Red and Orange was in color).” Check out the brand new video below:
