Pop Evil & Eve To Adam bring it at The Drunk Horse Pub Fayetteville, NC 11-18-13 (Exclusive Coverage)

On Monday November 18th Pop Evil, Eve To Adam, and Black Oxygen rolled into Fayetteville, NC to rock The Drunk Horse Pub. It had been nearly 3 years since Pop Evil came to the area; a full room of rock fans was ready to welcome them back.

Beginning the evening were North Carolina native rockers known as Black Market Special. Fans in attendance that knew of this band were overjoyed to see this local band arise from its early beginnings to becoming an opening band for one of large international rock tours. The excitement in the venue was off the charts as they delivered a killer performance which set the bar high for what fans in attendance expected for the remainder of the night.

After the explosive opening performance Kansas City, MO rockers Black Oxygen were ready to continue the ride of excitement. The band drew a few of their own diehard fans to the venue for their performance. From the first stroke of the guitar in their opening song the energy in the room ignited. They engaged the crowd and proved gracious to be performing. Black Oxygen performed some of their best hit songs including “The American Dream”, “Take it to the Limit”, “Set Me Free”, and of course “Good Times”. As their set came to a close they assured the fans they will indeed be back in Fayetteville, NC soon.

It was now time for New York City based hard rock band Eve To Adam. A lot of people in attendance knew of Eve To Adam but have never had an opportunity to see them perform live. This only added to the excitement leading up to them hitting the stage. When the band took to the stage it was as if a bomb went off with the audience enthusiastically chanting and throwing the rock horns high in the sky. Taki Sassaris (vocalist) and the rest of the band were very much excited to be in Fayetteville, NC as this was there very first time performing in the town. They could not express their appreciation and gratitude enough to those in attendance as well as the love and appreciation they have for the armed service members who were right down the road in Fort Bragg. Eve To Adam performed a variety of their songs including many tracks off their latest album Locked and Loaded such as “What Would You Kill”, “Fortune Teller”, “Bender”, and “Straitjacket Supermodel”. They even dedicated their latest single “Immortal” to the Armed Services. Their performance won them many new fans, and their first show in town was a success bound to bring them back.

The main attraction was moments away as you felt energy and intensity through the room. It’s been a long road for Grand Rapids, MI band Pop Evil. Having endured line-up changes over the past few years, these guys are stronger than ever and put out their best album to date with Onyx earlier this year. As they took the stage they opened with “Deal with the Devil”. The crowd responded with massive cheers, which could no doubt be heard miles away. Pop Evil brought the experience of a live rock show to an elevated level and proved there is nothing like a live show. Vocalist Leigh Kakaty stated he was indeed feeling a little under the weather but it would not stop him at all from giving his all and give a top notch performance. Having been a few years since performing in the area, new members Nick Fuelling (guitar) and Chachi Riot (AKA Josh Marunde) were welcomed with open arms by the crowd.

The band went on to perform for a little over an hour playing some of their best tracks including “100 in a 55”, “Hero”, “Goodbye My Friend”, “Monster You Made” and of course “Trenches”. By the time the night was complete one thing was certain, and that is Pop Evil are a band on a mission. Over the years they have matured enough to become an elite rock n roll band.
