Back in 2012 Blum House Productions brought audiences the supernatural Horror film Sinister. Directed by Scott Derrickson (The Exorcism of Emily Rose 2005, The Messengers 2007) and written by Derrickson and C. Robert Cargill, the film starred Ethan Hawke (Training Day 2001, The Purge 2013) as fictional true-crime writer named Ellison Oswalt who discovers a box of home movies in the attic of his recently purchased home that puts his family in danger. Set for release on August 21, 2015, Sinister 2 takes place following the aftermath of the shocking events in Sinister, a protective mother (Shannyn Sossamon – Wayward Pines series) and her nine year old twin sons (real-life twins Robert and Dartanian Sloan) find themselves in a rural house marked for death as the evil spirit of Buhguul continues to spread with frightening intensity.
