ROUSH Performance and Rockin’ The Redline are coming together for the next chapter of the ROUSH Distractor Face campaign. For the remainder of the 2013 Grand AM Race season, the faces of some of your favorite musicians will be vying for their chance to help the #61 ROUSH Performance BOSS 302R Mustang find its spot atop the podium!

“We launched the Distractor Face last year to create an outlet for our fans to interact with each other and compete to become an honorary part of our race team”, said Jack Roush jr. – Co-Driver of the #61 ROUSH Performance Boss 302R Grand Am Mustang. “This time around, we’re putting a little different spin on things. We have some great musicians that are eager to compete to be on the rear of the #61. It should be a lot of fun and a great opportunity for our ROUSH fans to interact with the rock and roll community and vice versa. “

“Rockin’ The Redline is a lifestyle brand that is built around the long lasting relationship between driving and music.” States Ed Abrams – CEO & Creator of Rockin’ The Redline. Rockin’ The Redline is teaming up with ROUSH Performance on the next iteration of the Distractor Face starting June 4, 2013. Fans will be able to vote for their favorite musicians. The first round will pit Saving Able’s Scott Bartlett, Fuel’s Andy Anderson, Puddle of Mudd’s Paul Phillips, and duo John Faye and Brittany Rotondo of John & Brittany, against each other in hopes of getting your vote and being selected to rock their face on the rear of the #61 ROUSH Mustang during the June 15th Diamond Cellar Classic Grand AM race @ Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

Be sure to cast your vote and insure your favorite musician is selected by liking the ROUSH Performance Facebook page. Once there, select the Distractor Face tab (located next to the photos tab below the timeline photo) and cast your vote. Voting will end June 14th @ 8pm est, and the winner will be announced Saturday June 15th on the ROUSH Performance Facebook page from the pits. To watch the race and cheer on the #61 live, go to www.grand-am.com at 430p EST on June 15th, or on SPEED Channel June 23rd @ 4pm EST (not live).

Check back and see who becomes ROUSH rock royalty and gets their face plastered on the rear of the #61 ROUSH Mustang. The artists only job is to distract the rest of the field as Jack Roush Jr and Billy Johnson pilot their way to the front of the field. Like us on the ROUSH Performance facebook page (www.facebook.com/roushperformance), select the Distractor face tab, and cast your vote.
