Unlike others, Horror fans derive immense satisfaction from owning memorabilia and merchandise from their favorite films. More than a mere consumeristic addiction, in the Horror lover’s mind, it is about celebrating the films that have been something special to them throughout life. Whether it be a movie they watched at a young age, like 1987’s Monster Squad, or one they may have stayed up late to catch on cable (without their parents’ knowledge), like 1985’s The Return of the Living Dead, there are deep roots between Horror and these types of movie viewers.
Absolutely outside the mainstream, to provide an understanding to those who just do not get it, liken it to proudly supporting your favorite MLB, NBA, NFL, or NHL team. Very much the same mindset; the difference is that the Horror merchandise market is very niche, where items are much harder to come by. With that in mind, there has undoubtedly been a broader opportunity to find some really cool, well-articulated Horror film figures in more recent years from companies like NECA and Trick or Treat Studios. This is while in the Horror apparel world, bigger companies like Hot Topic have done a fine job of filling a void.
With all of this in mind, for many years, if you wanted to find a t-shirt for your favorite Horror film, chances are you had to wait until a Horror convention rolled around, which was always a fun time. However, with the advent of online retailing, there are now more opportunities to find really cool Horror movie apparel from independent companies like Fright-Rags and another called Middle of Beyond. Launched in 2014, Middle of Beyond is a Texas-based company that initially produced knit sweaters and cardigans before expanding into a wider selection of licensed Horror, cult-film, and even music apparel.

Rather interesting, they even have a brick-and-mortar retail location in La Mesa, California, but if you cannot get out there, their online store is full of exciting goodies. To provide more details, yes, they carry more mainstream Horror apparel, such as for films like 1978’s Halloween, 1984’s Ghostbusters, but the genuine excitement comes from their products for films like Dario Argento’s Suspiria from 1977 and Phenomena from 1985, as well as 1979’s Phantasm. Offering some really unique button-up shirts, flannel, and jacket options for each film, there is also a stellar line for the classic 1982 George A. Romero-directed Creepshow.
Looking through the Creepshow collection, they have fleeces, flannels, button-up shirts, and even a rug option! Extremely cool, they launched the Creepshow line in 2024, and expanded on it in 2025 with some other beautiful options like a mechanics jacket.
Rolled out with some other new releases, such as pullovers, on October 31, 2025, the Creepshow Mechanics Jacket is made of extremely high-quality material, including a lovely polyester lining. Featuring the original Creepshow skeletal figure (famously known as The Creep) embroidered across the back, along with the classic Creepshow logo, it looks absolutely stunning. With attention to detail, Creepshow is also embroidered on the front using professional, heavy-duty materials built to last.

In addition, the inner lining should be explained for its very thoughtful attention to detail. Looking into this more, there are two inner pockets with very cool accent patches sewn underneath each of the famous fluffy from The Craft segment of Creepshow. Joined with a double-zipper closure (so you can zip up or down), this is not only a great novelty jacket but also practical for everyday use.
Available in sizes ranging from extra small to three extra large, it is currently priced at $129.00 on Middle of Beyond’s online store. Not inexpensive, but not entirely overpriced given the jacket’s specialty and quality; it is something all Creepshow fans may want to consider as their new fall or springtime jacket in 2026. That is why Cryptic Rock highly recommends looking into Middle of Beyond’s store and gives their Creepshow Mechanics Jacket 5 out of 5 stars.
