The New York City based collective known as SUSU are full of heart and soul. The unified project of Singer-Songwriters Liza Colby and Kia Warren, the two have been pumping out exceptional music for a few awhile. In fact, they have released a list of singles in preparation for the release of their forthcoming album Call Susie. An album due out later in 2023, each track put out thus far has offered something different, and showing the spectrum of SUSU’s talents, and now they premiere their seventh single, “Waiting.” Take a listen below:
A touchy song about the pain sustained from a longing heart, Colby and Warren meld vocal harmonies within a Blues Rock song that drips with soul. Mellow and cool, the track is a natural progression which even features some Country Rock twang that is sure to pique the interest of a very broad audience. With “Waiting” out now, curious listeners will have to hang on in anticipation for the release of Call Susie.
