There was “a little time” in the 90’s where many of us were left wondering and worrying about the possibility of a “future world” without my favorite band. For a short while it felt like “a tale that wasn’t right”. Then Helloween comes back (from where the rain grows) with Andi Deris on vox and a new killer album called Master of the Rings. With a renewed focus on the “power” and speed metal combined with great harmonies, both musically and vocally order was restored to the world I knew and loved. Since then I have been able to share Helloween music with my son. I look forward to taking my son to an upcoming U.S. Helloween concert.
No matter what they do these guys have a great time doing it. Their songs evoke nearly every emotion yet they never take themselves too seriously. One of the bands that helped expand our musical horizons beyond doom, gloom and Heavy Metal Hamsters. The world is just a better place with Helloween in it.
From their masterworks to the hidden gems, Helloween are one of the monumental bands that inspired a whole generation of German metal bands, many who helped keep metal alive through the late 1990’s when America had given up on the heavy metal genre….and the band forges on to this very day.
One of my fondest memories is a more recent one when Helloween, who have been curating superb German heavy metal for over thirty-years released My God-Given Right in 2015, It’s an album that shreds from beginning to end and it’s now one of my favorite Helloween studio releases after listening to it.
Up the pumpkins!
“Contest closes Sunday February 27th at 10 PM EST.”

With that said, does that mean the contest is over and a contestant was selected, or will a winner still win the pair of tickets despite the misinformation?
A winner was contacted last evening. If that winner does not reply by tonight the next contestant will be chosen. Thank you.
