Pretty Little Liars – Do Not Disturb (Season 6/ Episode 115 Review)

Another Tuesday, another explosive episode of Pretty Little Liars! Just when the Liars thought they had won against “A,” on February the 9th new episode Do Not Disturb, they find themselves again being targeted by an unknown assailant known as “A;” this time “A” is not just relying on the girls’ secrets anymore, he is going for the kill! The Liars take it upon themselves to find out who this new threat is. New “A” has fire, but the Liar’s flames are hotter than his!

PRETTY LITTLE LIARS - "Do Not Disturb" - Convinced that Sara Harvey is behind the new threats, the Liars work together to get answers in “Do Not Disturb,” an all-new episode of the hit original series “Pretty Little Liars,” airing TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 9 (8:00 - 9:00 p.m. EST) on Freeform, the new name for ABC Family. (Freeform/Ron Tom) LUCY HALE, TROIAN BELLISARIO

While Aria gets more and more suspicious about her father’s “secret,” she finds out that it is actually not a big deal. Rather, it is a happy one, being that Byron and Ella have both decided to reconnect their relationship absolving Byron of Charlotte’s murder. Team Sparia reunites to clear Aria’s father’s name. To do so, they go to extreme lengths; literally, with a selfie-stick. More about team Sparia later.

Caleb and Spencer (Spaleb) get cozier in and out of bed. Caleb recommends Spencer to go to the police, but Spencer, being Spencer, shuts Caleb off immediately, arguing that it would be risky because it feels like a new game. Right away, our minds go straight to the past seasons. New “A” has ways of manipulating the Liars into doing what he wants; or so he thinks. While all the girls have Sara as their main suspect, Caleb is not so sure about it. At this point, the audience is getting more and more acceptable of Spaleb while Hanna is not. After getting a notification on her smart watch, Spencer goes to meet Gil, but is surprised when she sees Toby’s girlfriend, Yvonne, instead. Yvonne “mysteriously” drops her phone, and when Spencer takes it, examines it, and returns it back to the restaurant, Mona is the one who takes the phone from her. That is right, Mona is back and shadier than ever, working for the opposite campaign! If viewers learned something from the past seasons, is that Mona is the only smart enough girl to talk against Spencer and survive.

Hanna, having all the stress about her wedding and her job, cannot deal with “A’s” threats. She goes to her mom Ashley and demands an explanation of where the extra footage went. Ashley only denies everything, of course. Claudia, Hanna’s boss, fires her for being late. Hanna realizes she is not going to take any more humiliation from her and she gladly quits the job only to regret it later. Out of all, Hanna is taking this whole new threat the worse because she is back to square one; back to feeling like a loser. Again, Sara seems to be the one sending the texts; albeit her hands are not able to perform ideally. Hanna suspects Sara too.

Emily accidently tells Alison her egg-donating plans and Alison accompanies her to the hospital to have it done. The couple, however, suddenly gets pregnant and they do not need her eggs anymore. “A” leaves broken eggshells in front of Emily’s door symbolizing what might happen to hers if she does not give up Charlotte’s murderer. This is quite suspicious because hours before, Alison is visited by Sara nonetheless. Sara also appears in what seems to be Emily’s nightmare, only we do not know if it was a dream or reality; this Thriller is satisfyingly deceiving like that.

Team Sparia are investigating Sara’s room when suddenly Aria is nowhere to be found. Spencer discovers the room Sara is staying in is exactly the same room Charlotte stayed during the former—now fully renovated restaurant—insane asylum. The closet leads to an underground place and we can only see a long ladder going down. We will find more about where this ladder leads in next week’s episode titled Where Somebody Waits for Me airing February the 16th. With only five episodes left this season, Pretty Little Liars keeps adding more drama, mystery, and suspense. We cannot wait to see what will happen next! CrypticRock.com gives Do Not Disturb 5 out of 5 stars.
