Production Begins For The Recall

Minds Eye Entertainment, in association with Bridgegate Pictures and VMI Worldwide, have proudly announced that principal photography for the Sci-fi/Action/Thriller, The Recall, has begun in British Columbia, Canada. Directed by Mauro Borrelli (The Ghostmaker 2012) from a screenplay by Reggie Keyohara III (Send In The Clowns 2017) and Sam Acton, The Recall stars RJ Mitte (Breaking Bad series), Jedidiah Goodacre (Descendants 2015), Niko Pepaj (Awkward series 2016), Laura Maria Bilgeri (Toby Goes to Camp 2016), Hannah Rose May (Ballers series), and Wesley Snipes (Blade 1998) as “The Hunter.” Elate about the news, Kevin Dewalt, CEO of Minds Eye Entertainment, stated,

“I am thrilled to collaborate with the team from Bridgegate Pictures and VMI Worldwide to bring the script THE RECALL to life,” said Dewalt. “We couldn’t be more proud to work with a young cast and the talented Wesley Snipes to create a film that sci-fi audiences will be excited to see.”

The story of The Recall begins when five friends vacation at a remote lake house, they expect nothing less than a good time, unaware that planet Earth is under an alien invasion and mass-abduction. Featuring some talented contributors, Borelli, is a former collaborator of Director Tim Burton and the film illustrator for blockbuster films such as 2003’s Pirates of the Caribbean and 2011’s Captain America. Capitalizing on his experience as a top “visual” artist, Borelli is prime to bring The Recall to life on the big screen.

Minds Eye International has North American distribution rights to The Recall, while VMI Worldwide has international rights. THE RECALL will be produced by Kevin Dewalt (The Tall Man 2012) and Danielle Masters (Wolfcop 2014), and will be executive produced by Guy Griffithe (WTF: World Thumbwrestling Federation 2016), Andre Relis (War Pigs 2015), Frank White (Faces In The Crowd 2011), and Isabella Ragona (Forsaken 2015) .In addition, The Recall is the first film of a six-picture production slate announced by the companies at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival, so look out for more detail in the future.
